Still, all the "good" shows here are age-restricted - you have to be at least 18 or even like 20 sometimes to go to a show.

sometime in February I'm seeing Dysrhythmia and Rosetta.

And in a couple weeks John Abercrombie is playing at the jazz bakery and I want to go.

not necessarily.
it just depends on the venue.
it certainly does not distinguish between a good show and a bad show.
but sure, there have been times when i couldn't attend a show because of age restrictions.

the thing that sucks about going to a college in Poughkeepsie (besides the fact that the college is in Poughkeepsie) is that concerts never come here. I'm missing the tours for Trail of Dead and dredg. I could go down to NYC but it's expensive and I have to commit an entire day basically
