idk. the clean singing in their older stuff makes it weird. Like.. idk. Just seems weird. Like in deadbolt and kill me quickly it's all like yeah hardcore whats up then all the sudden cheesy singing comes in. Like the whole sing/scream thing only works with a few bands imo. otherwise it's just kinda cheesy and lame.

I used to like pop-punk. Damn getting old; just can't enjoy it anymore.

this is a common misconception
in ways a comatorian might understand,
thrice got a fauxhawk so their not emo anymore

wait
i dont really think that works
but people think they still play the same shit as back in the day before vheissu
but its totally different now
click my sig and get the alchemy index imo
i might even upload vheissu there cuz i want people to listen to it so bad

thrice is def appreeshed.

i never got to be a huge fan of their older (heavy) stuff, but their shift over to the more experimental side of music really has my attention. good stuff.

i'm seeing them for the first time next month in november. i can't wait.

Was heaps into them (Artist, mainly) when I saw them in 04.
Never bothered with Vehsisiiueueisueu then they came out and didn't see them again.
Listened to Vehsisisieigeu once and it was ok but I dunno. Haven't heard any Alchemy.

Alchemy Index is fantastic but I wish they would make an Aether EP just to finish the concept...

Vheissu took me by surprise with Dustin singing, but it now feels normal with the Alchemy Index. Great live; I've yelled for Paper Tigers when I saw them once and Teppei got a weird look on his face and shrugged at me. Donkey Kong dammit the bass line in that song ROCKS.

I kind of want to buy the 4x10" vinyl release of alchemy index when that comes out.

Man, I still haven't picked up Vheissu. I need to get on that.

Me too. The whole 'Alchemy Index' series does nothing to me. Too brittle, I think.
