After thoroughly saturating my entire audial cavities with Vheissu and The Alchemy Indexes, going back and listening to both The Artist in the Ambulance and The Illusion of Safety are great.

I've never heard this band, should I?
If so, where do I start.

the beginning.
i yelled at dustin to play paper tigers when they were last at the catalyst
and he said they werent prepared.
<3 broken
their first 3 albums are punk
vheissu and alchemy are some trippy radiohead hybrid
salll good

you guys cant say where idols once stood isnt pumping

Vheissu is a master piece. All my mates were big Thrice fans before Vheissu and after they hated them. But that album made me love them so much more. Every track is gold, gold gold. fucking solid album.

There i have said it.

the song "of dust and nations" send shivers down my spine every time i hear it.

also there was a new live ep thingy from the myspace transmissions sessions released recently.

Far from it. I do like the last 2 releases, but you can't forget about the roots.

when i saw them at taste of chaos, some fhaggots were moshing to red sea and other such mellow songs.
so a rather large fellow i went with picked them up and moved them and told them to stop spazzing out.

there is something about putting on Illusion to Safety

beginning to end. and then right into AitA.

the Alchemy Index has alot of good ideas and energy, as does Vheissu... but it doesn't even come close to the energy of the older stuff. I could have that in my rotation all day long and not get sick of it. Great for working out too.

I don't listen to Thrice as much as I used to, but when I hear Kill Me Quickly SHIT IS GOIN DOWN
