first listening on the train I didn't dig it all too muchchecking out the new Bjork tonight
but then second listening at home and damn, I think it one of her best. the strings in Black Lake, sustained so long they don't sound like strings anymore, each time they lead to the next section, ugh I can't even.

Viet Cong is good. peeps who like Women check it out. the electronic percussion is a nice element, adds to the grimy Brutalist pop sheen. one of the melodies in "Silhouettes" is weirdly familiar
warming up to the new Father John Misty. not a fan generally of Fleet Foxes.

listened to mount eerie album, enjoyed it, but they're one of those bands that i could never really get into. really enjoyed them live. same goes with the father john misty.
been kind of burned out on music lately, nothing really is doing much for me.
looking forward to the new lightning bolt album though. will be fun to listen to in the car once warm weather rolls around.
