Don't know if anyone picked up The Swapper in steam sale, but it's one of my personal favourites for this year. The soundtrack is haunting, reflective, ambient and perfectly accompanies the story.

Such a fantastic game, and that soundtrack is TOTALLY OUT OF THIS WORLD (GET IT, CAUSE IT'S ABOUT SPACE). But seriously, excellent stuff. A lot of really good indie game soundtracks lately with some fantastic ambiance going on.

Also digging Little Inferno's OST, got it in the Humble Bundle as well. Some really nice music.

this is far from being my favorite video game soundtrack but it is still pretty great

2 Unlimited in a space shooter haha

I don't think there were too many games using popular songs in their soundtracks during the 16-bit days but this was one of them...

Hohokum has a great soundtrack of all artists signed to Ghostly International. Shigeto contributed.

final fantasy episode was good, even though the orchestral versions are pretty stupid. funny story about how he wrote the prelude.

yea i gotta kick out of that story. what dont you like about the orchestral stuff? definitely gave me more of an appreciation for his creativity and craft, not everyone without any sort of scholastic musical background is able to craft music that translates to an orchestra with such depth
