I was kinda expecting Gala to take it. The top sides look good this year..

Congratulations, Ze. Impressive job defeating Gala. :clapping:

PSV are still undefeated this season. No change in that tonight:

NEC - PSV
0-1 Dzsudzsak (after 17 seconds)
0-2 Reis (first league goal)
0-3 Bakkal
0-4 Lazovic (penalty)

Excellent game.

And it has to be said that Isaksson made some brilliant saves in the first half.
He may be about as good with crosses as Count Dracula, but he's a great line keeper.

Well, it turned out to be a beach ball, to be exact.
Ref didn't even disallow it. So 1-0 to Sunderland it was.

Woot, so today the mexican u-17 team beat the brazil u-17 team. After that horrible game we had against switzerland the other day, we just might make it to the round of 16 http://umbilicalblis...tyle_emoticons/default/smile.gif

Hey voskat, what do you think of Maza Rodriguez?

I always had a good feeling about Maza, but under last season's coach every player felt uncomfortable, so he didn't play the way he should and could have.
It's all different with the new coach (Fred Rutten). He gives confidence to the team and now Maza is in the starting line-up. http://umbilicalblis...tyle_emoticons/default/drinks.gif

Btw, I met Salcido in the supermarket a year or two ago. Nice guy. I thanked him for the championship he helped bring us. http://umbilicalblis...tyle_emoticons/default/smile.gif

Haha, did Salcido speak Dutch? or i mean does he speak dutch? Hopefully he goes to another team, because at PSV he is mostly benched. I want that fool to be fit for next years world cup.

Tomorrow, in the U-17 world cup mexico faces korea. Hopefully we win. If we do, then we're most likely to face Nigeria, then we'll most likely be eliminated lol. But i have faith in my team.

thanx Voskat for the insight, sorry it took me a year to reply.

fener rumored to be after sudsack, but we already got stoch so i think those rumors will die down over the coming weeks. would have loved both of them on our wings. our attack would have been ridiculous at that point. R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S.

Cristian - Emre
Sudsack - Alex - Stoch

bump because the world cup is over

most preseason camps started a few weeks ago

feners did, at least, and guiza showed up late and unfit as hell. now our president wants to sell him at a steep discount. there's rumours of a guiza for nilmar switch.

nilmar is a good forward, better than guiza, but i don't understand our fetish for forwards. i mean, we have our nations BEST STRIKER but we NEVER START HIM?!?!!ELkrfgijijf

the top leagues - premier league (england), la liga (spain), serie a (italy), and bundesliga (germany) all start in a month or so, and they all end in may.

the next major "international" competition is copa america 2011, which will take place july 2011. then it's EURO 2012, then confed cup in 2013, and then the WC in 2014.

Why international within quotation marks? And by it's omission I presume you don't rate it as a competition of enough worth but the Asian Confederation's Cup is in January next year, or perhaps it's just a simple omission.

i put the quotations because international teams compete, but it's not as open as the world cup (only limited to south american teams + mexico). and i totally forgot about the ACC :(

but it's getting there. there's been a pretty vast improvement since 2002, and not just japan/korea. iran/iraq, china, north korea. and of course the aussies. glad they shifted to the AFC.

Yeah the shift to the AFC was the key step.

Can't wait till the A-League starts.
