The last time the Bills were relevant, they had Thurman Thomas running the ball. McCoy really is a linchpin for the success of that team, and Rex Ryan has proven to be more talk than walk. I would like to see them succeed, but whoa, red flags all over that one.

Then again, the biggest deficiency last year was injuries at RB, followed by relying on Kyle Orton to be the QB. They appear to have shored up some of the big holes from last year.

@Cochese - your Packers got Aaron Ripkowski from OU, and it's probable that he beats out Kuhn for his FB job. Familiarize yourself with Rip, cause the dude is a beast.

lol

at most Ripkowski will make the roster as a special teams guy....otherwise he'll just be on the practice squad this season.

Apparently he is a smart dude...he should be able to develop into a good replacement for Kuhn when he retires.

It was mostly the opinion of this guy: http://en.wikipedia....iki/Kelly_Gregg

He said the only time a team takes a FB in the draft is because they plan to use him in that position.

Watch that video, it's not so much his run skills, but his blocking. Imagine Ripkowski instead of Kuhn blocking for Lacy.

no doubt they plan on using him (Packers are one of the few teams in the NFL that make use of a Fullback) ...just saying it won't be this season

i don't think it matters if he can run...i think Kuhn only gets to run the ball as a 'reward' for all of his hard work

I'm glad the Packers will continue to make use of the fullback position....not only does it help out Lacy, it helps protect Rodgers

example of a FB making game winning play:

.this is the kind of shit that make Kuhn so great (not just blocking at the line of scrimmage)

Good to get a loss out of the way early anyway, IMO.

Was a good game though.  They should've let Hoosh try the 57 yard FG, would have been cake in the dome.

Also running on 4th and 1 was a good call but in shotgun formation?  IDK why they've shied (shy-ed?) away from the I formation.

Enough is enough though Seattle PAY KAM.

Or enough is enough KAM just PLAY.

Too bad the Rams had one of their own too :L

He's an exciting player though for sure

The #37 dude replacing Kam who tripped on that TD pass is pretty good but they're feeling it

Expect them to do just as good at home this year but might be a rockier road

Kam really does deserve the money though, the whole situation makes me sick as a fan

kinda that whole rift between team allegiance and $$$

still under contract but sad they can't work something out

I'm sure GB doesn't want to see him anytime soon

Nothing would please me more than see Seattle go into Green Bay in the playoffs and get a win, even if they don't make it to the Super Bowl.

I feel bad for Jimmy Graham but really I think they'll actually do better offensively without him.

Kinda seems like to me Russel goes out of his way to get him plays because I mean...why not?

Shitty injury though, he had an insane catch that game too.

Just now hearing Marshawn is out for the season probably?

I'd be bummed out if he dips out after this season like he thought he might last year

Not ready to say goodbye, Lynch :(

Rawls is really good though but Lynch is way more flavor

Kept expecting the Cardinals to collapse but I don't think it's happening.  Palmer is pretty clutch.

I secretly hope Luck is out for the year too and that Hasselbeck takes the Colts to the Superbowl, lol.  Then he throws an OT INT to SEA and the circle of life is complete.
