This "real music" idea is pretty silly, and their Merzbow collabs are sweet. The Walrus/Groon EP is rad and Rock Dream is a good album. I really like the rendition of "rainbow" on it.

Yeah, it does sound good actually, I wonder if there is an SBD of the whole set floating around.

Quick question:

I read that when Boris is written all in caps on the album, it's less experimental. Can somebody break down the albums for me? Which albums are BORIS albums (as opposed to boris)?

I'm assuming Amplifier Worship, Heavy Rocks, Pink, and Smile are all BORIS albums.

Is it harsh at this point is I say "Buy the albums"?

From my stack, BORIS = Smile, Pink, Black: Implication Flooding, Absolutego & Amplifier Worship

The rest are Boris - including Rock Dream

'preciate it.

I generally try not to feed the record company machine by buying albums, but since Boris has their own label I guess buying their albums would be ok.

Looks like I missed their show in Atlanta by about a month. Too bad....
I'll catch them next time.

you're being sarcastic right? only putting half of my sentence in bold?
I avoid buying albums unless I know the artist is the one who is going to get the money. In most cases, the label makes most of the money off of album sales and artists make most of their money from doing shows.

However,

since Boris has their own label I guess buying their albums would be ok.

because boris, being owners of the label, would be the ones making money from album sales. :good:
