Opening day today! Glad to be in LA so i can catch the Angels on TV. So who are your teams? who do you think will win it all?

right now it seems that the Red Sox and Phillies are in a league of their own, but you never know with such a long season.

The Angels should bounce back and at least contend for the AL West this year. They have three really promising rookies, (trout, Trumbo, Conger) . Trout is only 19 years old and considered the top prospect in the MLB. They've got a very solid starting rotation (sans Kazmir), and although they severely overpaid, they should have a new injection of power via Vernon Wells and the return of Kendry Morales.

This is the year man. Fresh start, pick a team :)

(just dont pick the yankees, red sox, or phillies, plz)

ok. I just don't know enough to pick a team really.

No teams in the state either. so who would I pick? White Socks? Rangers? Cardinals? Orioles? Bluejays? (I like birds)

I'll watch some games see what teams i like to watch the best.

not only is the a's pitching legit but their infield defense was fucking spectacular last season and their offense was capable of putting together some surprising games every other game or so
the a's, at the start of this season, are - on paper - as good as the giants lineup was at the start of the last season - of course things shook out well for the giants offense as the season went along

"I had no problem with getting rid of Lou Brock that guy was fucking terrible with the Cubs. I saw this one play, it was a pop up... The ball bounced off his fucking HEAD! I don't care what he did in St. Louis, he was terrible here!" - My Dad after hearing the announcers mention how great Lou Brock was during the Cardinals broadcast

No one watches the White Sox

Cubs have a legit rotation but a pretty bad bullpen and an inconsistent offense

Hoping for an above .500 record, but I think the team is way too young. Not sold on Pena. This guy on the other hand...
