Oh, so I got the Beyerdynamics.

Had them for about a week now. They sound fucking fantastic; but again, I got the 250 Ohm impedance cans, so they're pretty hard to drive out of my iPod's internal amp. Usually pretty quiet, and the bass is almost completely absent. I have a little Fiio E5 amp ($25), and it helps a little, but I'd like to eventually get this when I have the money: http://www.headstage...ncy::10138.html

They can become uncomfortable. Not on the ears, they're very very soft. But on the top of the head. They're definitely quite heavy. And very unportable... But the clarity of the sound makes up for it, despite being hard to drive and having very low bass frequencies. Once I can afford that higher power amp, these are going to be impeccable.

anybody know a good website with deals on decent headphones. i'm looking at these sony mdr-v6 on newegg for 80 bucks. not willing to spend much more than that, is this a good deal? the reviews look pretty good, they seem like a classic model.
