Listening to these albums with the knowledge of her death in mind makes them that much heavier emotionally.

Here's a 90 minute Celer mix containing lots of unreleased tracks: http://www.fluid-rad...exclusive-pt-1/

Can anybody figure out if this is downloadable from that site?

After a lengthy period of silence in music production, American producer Will Thomas Long comes out with Sequoia, a twenty-two minute track dedicated to the memory of his wife Danielle Baquet-Long, who passed away last year at the young age of twenty-six. Together they were known for their prolific collaborative work as Celer and have appeared internationally on such labels as Infraction, and/OAR, Dragon’s Eye, Home Normal, Spekk, Yard Rec., and Smallfish.

Will’s latest work Sequoia is inspired by an illustration of a California Redwood, one of the tallest trees in the world. Perhaps it is the scale of this gigantic pine that reflects how small and fragile we are in comparison. Sequoia is a deeply dense and emotional journey that delicately immerses you within his subtle, gentle low-end tones and slow pulses. As his only long-form work to be published since 2009, it’s an honour to have such a moving piece as our second release.

Some of the more despairing work he's done. Definitely not the warm beautiful tones of Celer.

Damn for some dumb reason I still haven't listened to that Will Long solo track.

However I did listen to the new Celer release Honey Moon today and it is splendid. Cassette was inexpensive and arrived in only 4 days or so; the photography and card insert with tracklisting/poem are beautifully designed.

The more you listen the more beguiling, entrancing and amazing it seems. I've been into Dwell in Possibility and Mesoscaphe recently.

So Will Long is putting tons of full Celer albums on bandcamp. Lots that have never been available before except as really rare CDRs.

http://celer.bandcamp.com/

Can't wait to explore Para, Tingshas, Sadha, Endes, Caves With No Faces and Hell Detoured.

So much music, gosh.
