Yes, but it doesn't change.

I need Warp to loop it, and then it gets out of sync.

Hit the warp button .....youll really want to be looking at the videos on the ableton site and reading the manual to get the most out of ableton especially warping audio. As manuals go its an easy to read manual.

Some of the clips I'll just put in and they'll be on loop automatically, and they'll line up.

I'll mess around with it, I think I got it.

Anyone mind explaining setting warp points a little? Or the process of setting them. Usually, everything I put in already has them in it, because ableton guesses what they should be; or It doesn't and I havent encountered any problems in that case either. I read about them for awhile when I first started fucking with shit, but I still don't get it.

Ionno man. I have ProTools, with a digidesign 003, and that shit SUCKS for any sort of midi sequencing imo. As a recording tool, it is fucking incredible, but for anything midi related, it sucks the farts out of my ass, I use ableton for that. I hate actually having to use Ableton, Pro Tools and Wavelab for everything I do, that isn't related to a band; but such is life... however Nuendo on the other hand... I envy you for having that, it is no wonder it is so much more expensive then pro-tools. It is like if they combined the midi power of cubase, with the recording power of protools and gave you the ultimate DAW. Nuendo is like the god mode of music recording.

i know. its plug n play too so no mapping required, this is major for attracting new people to the software. The only down side is no drum pads. Il most likely pick up the korgpad for that.

If Ableton has automation, then yes. There should be an R and a W button for read and write. Use R if you want to place the automation markes manually, and Wif you want to have Ableton record what you do. Remember to turn of Write after you're done. I recommend that you bounce the automated tracks once you're happy with them, as latency can make that shit lag and not play back as intended.

Oh shit I figured it out
I don't know how though
I don't see any R or W button but somehow I figured it out

I just pressed the record button and played around then stopped, and it became a new track
