i use ernie ball super slinkies and, recently, DR tite fit strings.

i generally leave a pack of strings on for about 6-7 months.

i very rarely clean them (every 3 months?) with a sheet of printer-paper and run the paper up/down each string a couple of times.

I used to use supers...
but then I just went to DR for some reason...
same gauge, soo whatevz

I have a Squire Affinity Telecaster (needs a setup) and a Washburn X-Series Pro. I also have an acoustic, but it's a cheap value pack thing so I'm getting a new one soon.

I use Ernie Ball Super Slinky strings. I change them when they break (quite often <_<) and I don't really clean them much.

Ernie Ball strings have always broken way too easily on my guitars ... switching to Elixirs was a really good decision

I really don't want to pay extra for electric strings, but I might go for Elixir when I get my Ovation acoustic this Christmas.

I play a Gibson Les Paul. I'm abusive towards it. I pluck hard and break lots of strings and knock it against things. I love it, it's a beauty.

My Schecter is just as good as a Les Paul, but 1/3 the price.

Mine was 700. Got it used. It's a limited edition and is actually worth 3,000+, haha. Plus I bet it's prettier than the Schecter.

I mean, that's cool. I'm glad you like it. That's not really my style of guitar, not a fan of the appearance, and I like the way my Les Paul looks/feels/sounds. I'm glad we both like our guitars. High five!

I was playing some ibanez's in a funk band and I loved them. Great with effects.
