okay so as evidenced as my signature I have found a new love and her name is Kate Beaton

and she does some hilarious shit

the problem is, her website's server is... I don't know. Basically her archives aren't up right now so I'm going through the laborious process of sifting through her livejournal. But it is so. worth it.

So I'm gonna inundate you with the genius.

Lol oh okay, I don't think it's funny so I must just be too dumb to understand it.

I'll have you know I was fantastic in history classes.

while I can agree that you have more soul power, there's no way she's making millions, or much of anything off this stuff. She probably sells some t shirts sure, and little xeroxed books but the website cost probably takes out a chunk of that.

I don't think they're that funny either
not terrible just not genius
and I don't at all see how reading and history have anything to do with it (just because there's one benjamin franklin joke and one sherlock holmes joke? OH I SEE I AM A RETARDED)
pretty average
ehh, I dunno
I'll just see myself out then

I was being flip about reading and history, I don't really care if everyone doesn't find them funny (but I really enjoy them)

but um, they're basically all literary or historical. Napoleon? The Bronte sisters? Jules Verne? First non native guy to reach the North Pole?

lols at the garfield one. It's so nonsensical and absurd that I can't help but find it amusing. They might not make me howl in laughter but they are amusing.
