Our biggest smash hit so far. It's a quickie with a dissonant reverby guitar bridge.
Our other biggest smash hit so far. Mid-tempo with lots of pretty bells and reverb.
A slowie with a brass solo.
Slow Down Your Shimmer (demo bit).mp3
I really need to finish this.

They're 8 songs and they're all very nice. Kinda The Cure meets The Cure, if you're into that kind of thing.
Don't worry, it's quality stuff. Especially the first two tracks. And the last one ("Laura"), which is nice and big and echo-y and has me singing really high. Like a kittie.

Overall I enjoyed it. I'll probably listen some more from time to time. There were a few instances were the vocals were a tiny bit flat. But other than that, the programming was enjoyable, the tones were very proper for accomplishing the desired sound, etc. It's nothing new, but it's not trying to be.

The vocals overall sounded good. Like I said, there were a few spots where you were a bit flat. I don't suppose there's ever anything wrong with working toward improvement!
Thanks for the analysis, Gabe. I already made a deal with my wife that I'll be working on my vocals. Cheers!
Keep it up!

Thanks for listening and especially for yr kind words. Even if I never make a pimpload of money with the music, I like it when people are enjoying it.

Well, I've decided to make all Spiderworld, Mutagenesis, Himself In Anachron and The Armies music freely available.
I've always liked the idea of making a little money with our art, but a vaguely profitable way of distributing it is hard to find. I think it's more important right now to just get ourselves out in the open as much as possible. Fame before the fortune!
So for starters, here's the first Spiderworld album (Four Of Us On June Lake):
Full of pretty little twinkly diamond piano songs, lo-fi new-wave, sound experiments involving wind-up toys before CocoRosie made off with the idea, etc.
And here's the EP we released last October:
A little more of the same ideas, but I think I did a better production job here. We're so fucking proud of the first two tracks. Better than what Robert Smith & buds have come up with lately, imo.
(I'll add the booklets and art and stuff later this week..)
If you liked those (or already know you like them), we'd be thrilled by a PayPal detonation to the Fleurs Arctiques cause.
Doesn't matter how small (or fucking huge), every dollar, euro or pound helps us more than you imagine!

Buddha be with you all, insh'Allah!
