i really like andre nickatinas flow, he uses a unique vocal style that flows through your brain for awhile, rapes it,
then leaves a number.
been digging the return of dr octagon. ALIENS
recently picked up an instrumental selection of deltron 3030, with a remix of turbulence.
and check out shinobi, they are a less bloodthirsty I.T., more or less

the clips i saw showed that it could have been a life-changing experience

i think every second of Madvillainy is good. "Bistro" is pretty relaxing and fits in well with the rest of the album.

as far as the other albums that have been recently mentioned, Things Fall Apart and Be are two incredible albums. probably my favorites from The Roots and Common.

Illadelph Halflife > Things Fall Apart

Resurrection > Be

listened to the new Murs & 9th Wonder album a couple times today.

it sounds a lot like the other 2 albums they did together, but that's not necessarily bad. it's pretty damn good for a free-bee, but it's not their best work.

Oy, I just finally downloaded both De La Soul's Buhloone Mindstate and The Roots' Illadelph Halflife.
They are both incredible.

Btw, totally off topic, I was incredibly disappointed by Rising Down, I mean even Game Theory was a bit disappointing with only a few good tracks. I haven't heard Tipping Point, but I have noticed a gradual slope downwards since Do You Want More. Phrenology is good but not compared to some older albums.

i agree

i love illadelph halflife but think rising down isn't that great...except for that first song(might be track #2?)

i actually heard illadelph after rising down too...so it has nothing to do with keeping it old school or whatever

you guys are crazy. Rising Down is damn good, and i dont how anyone can be dissapointed with Game Theory...it's one of their best records.

The Tipping Point is the only one that isn't great.
